Chef/cook for Child Care Centre - Mississauga, Canada - Small Wunders Child Care Centres

Seeking an experienced and confident chef to prepare our set menu for children of our child care centre. Preparation is for 90 children on a daily basis and consists of breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

You must be an independent worker, must have incredible multi tasking skills, have knowledge of how to prepare meals in large amounts, order items weekly based on need, be physically ready and able to dishwash and clean up daily.

This is a fast paced independent position.

You must have current food handler certificate, current first aid and cpr certificate, clear and current criminal reference check (VSC) as well as be COVID vaccinated and have proof of all up to date immunizations records and accompanying TB test.

We are seeking a team player who will happily fit in with an incredible team and bring positive values to our hard working team.

The position is full time monday to friday, from 7:30am-4:30pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.


Salary:
$18.00-$19.50 per hour

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification & First aid and CPR certificate (required)
