Description

Tests electronic function of components preparatory to printed circuit board assembly for compliance to company standards, using test equipment and test procedures.


  • Troubleshoot and work with customers on solving test equipment problems
  • Test RF related PCBAs using Network Analyzers, DMM, Oscillocscopes
  • Analyze test results and provide possible solutions
  • Operating the flying probe machine and develop programs for it
  • Read electronic schematics and block diagrams
  • Perform weekly maintenance on test equipment
  • Mechanical assembly of PCBAs into metal chassis or various subassemblies (5 to 10 lbs lifting).
  • Work with other technicians, engineers, supervisors to continuously improve test process
  • Work with high voltage

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience testing PCBAs
  • College diploma in Electronics Technician an asset
  • Experienced in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Flying probe/ICT test and development a huge asset
  • Self motivated and abilty to work indiviually or in a group setting
  • Comfortable in a fact paced and everchanging environment
  • Detail oriented
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing English
  • Positive working attitude

Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • MARKHAM, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
