Note:

In this role you will be supporting internal and external customers through the management of plasma protein product inventory, processing plasma protein product complaints and adverse reactions, coordinates recall/withdrawal of PPRP products, and coordinates and tracks plasma shipments to the Fractionators.

The work of the Coordinator - PPRP Support is integral o Canadian Blood Services role as
Canada's Lifeline.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Monitors inventory levels and usage requirements, including quarantine inventory at all sites
  • Provides Master Data with required information regarding new lots for batch creation and maintenance in SAP
  • Liaison for external customers who purchase plasma products
  • Investigates and processes PPRP insurance claims, disposal and stock adjustments
  • Processes PPRP temperature deviations through consultations with Quality Assurance
  • Processes and investigates notifications of PPRP Complaints and Adverse Reactions

Required Skills:


  • Postsecondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably a degree in Commerce or Business Administration
  • Minimum of two years experience in activities related to procurement, transportation, shipping or other supply chain roles
  • Familiarity with a computerized inventory management system is preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, influencing and negotiation
  • High organization skills and the ability to efficiently and independently organize workload priorities
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of SAP is an asset
