Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities.

Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business.

HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

  • Our Edmonton facility is modern, clean and comfortable.   • This position has the option to work remote on Mondays and Fridays and will have access to numerous career growth opportunities.

Position Overview:


  • Qualify Customer Expectations
  • Project Initiation Form
  • Manage internal processes adhering to clearly defined QMS requirements
  • Project Setup & data maintenance across multiple separate systems
  • Request quotes and site assessments
  • Transition project data and client contacts to Project Manager
Ongoing coordination with all stakeholders regarding projects priorities, status, and inquiries- Collection and coordination of inputs from client contact(s) to ensure operations has the information to complete the delivery cycle

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide positive client experience resulting in client maintaining and growing their business with us (i.e. build trust by delivering on commitments and taking personal accountability)


  • Customer Project Support

  • Perform customer service functions for all critical accounts and transactional projects
  • Perform data entry in various databases. Keep data current by entering information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Organize and coordinate various meetings, prepare and circulate agendas, take meeting minutes, track action items, etc.
  • Research, collect and analyze information, prepare and distribute reports as required
  • Liaise and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, service providers and organizational members
Indirect Purchasing for Facilities Support- Process internal purchase order requests

  • Address vendor questions and issues
  • Setup new vendors

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Experience 35 years Project Coordination experience
  • Vendor experience in Utility and Power or Construction industry would be a strong asset
Education- Project Management Certificate or equal business experience

  • Training in effective Business Writing would be an asset
Technical- Exceptional oral and business writing skills

  • Experience with WorkFront and SAP an asset
  • Intermediate MS Office suite including Excel
  • Accurate and quick data entry
Behavioral- Ability to be flexible and adapt in an ever-changing environment

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to take charge of responsibilities
  • Ability to own a customer relationship
  • Ability to communicate effectively with commercial clients
