Responsibilities:

• Set up machines with correct tooling for specific profile
• Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, adjusting spindle, replacing parts)
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions
• Inspect machine parts for defects and verify that the part was removed from the machine by a qualified person according to our Quality Policy and Procedures
• Perform routine machine repairs (replacing worn tools, adjusting spindles, changing speeds etc.)
• Maintain quality levels by following procedures and monitoring equipment to ensure it is running correctly
• Coordinate repairs with other departments (as needed)
• Assist in the planning of maintenance programs for machinery and equipment that does not have immediate needs
• Assist in the planning of special events for staff and customers (as needed)

Experience:
must be computer friendly, training is provided.

Job Types:
Full-time, Apprenticeship


Salary:
$15.74-$28.34 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

• Vaughan, ON L4K 5T7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

• English (preferred)
