Blue Link ERP, located in Vaughan, Ontario, provides inventory and accounting ERP software to businesses across North America. We are a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and have been in business since 1992.

Our software is designed specifically for businesses that buy and sell inventory, including wholesale and distribution businesses and those that sell through retail and eCommerce channels.


As an all-in-one solution, Blue Link helps customers streamline operations and automate processes by providing software for inventory management, accounting, order entry and processing, warehouse management, contact management and more.

Blue Link is available to businesses in North America and the Caribbean.


Blue Link is seeking an ERP Software Implementation Specialists to work directly with our small/medium sized business clients to implement Blue Link ERP software products either onsite or remotely.

Specialists also work with the development and help desk teams on new product releases and on supporting our existing software.

Blue Link implementations include tasks such as training users on how to use the software, helping business owners modify their business processes as appropriate to take full advantage of the features in the new ERP software, transferring data from old systems and creating reports.


This is a fully remote role; must reside in Canada, preference to those in the Greater Toronto Area

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:


  • Consulting mapping business procedures to our software and vice versa
  • Training the client staff at all levels on the use of the software
  • Working with tools such as SQL databases to migrate data from legacy systems to our system
  • Tweaking reports and transactional documents
  • Meeting with business stakeholders to define software requirements
  • Writing up custom specification documents detailing changes required to the software (if any)
  • Working with development staff to validate the software changes made
  • Supporting clients remotely and onsite after implementation
  • Working technical support/helpdesk periodically, on a roster basis
  • Travel to customer sites for 12 weeks at a time, no more than 10 times per year may be part of the job

Skills:


Some of the skills that are important include:

  • Strong understanding of SQL databases in general, and more specifically Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise with Excel is a must
  • The ability to work independently
  • Good people skills
  • Ability to manage stressful situations from time to time
  • Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks
  • Strong training / teaching skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Some accounting knowledge would be a bonus
