    Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for a Video Editor at Surgo Studios located in Ottawa, ON, with flexibility for some remote work.

    As a Video Editor Intern, you will be responsible for day-to-day video editing tasks. You will work closely with our creative team and assist in creating engaging videos for our clients.

    in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)Strong understanding of video editing techniquesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plusExperience with color grading and audio editing is a plusEnrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program in film, media, or a related field
