Description

Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre, Calgary looking for a Maintenance Manager to service the Property Operations and Maintenance function for the 120-room hotel.

This full-service property features over 9,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function space, a restaurant, lounge, pool, as well as an in-house laundry.
The position is full-time and will report to the Hotel General Manager.

Responsibilities:

Work as a cooperative member of the hotel's leadership team.
Maintains the building's mechanical equipment is performing at an efficient level.
Maintains and ensure property's exterior envelope is in good order and meet the established standards.
Ensure Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed to ensure department objectives are met.
Ensure department operates in compliance with all relevant laws.
Able to perform all duties and tasks associated with building maintenance and repair, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
Maintain liaison with all hotels operating departments.
Know all fire, life and safety procedures and take all means necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees in an emergency.
Attend regular Department Head meetings.
Organize, prioritize work orders to provide efficient service to guests.
Ensure proper operations of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment in hotel and restaurant.
Control and maintain an inventory of parts and tools, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Implement an effective preventative maintenance program.
Review service or maintenance contracts for competitive pricing.
Maintain appropriate and statutory service record.
Attend to guest complaints and maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Conduct regular walkthroughs and check for deficiencies.
Perform other duties as required.
