Job Summary

What is the opportunity ?

  • Demonstrate client stewardship and care in every decision and activity
  • Lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what's possible to maximize client acquisition, growth and deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Represent RBC in the community; build a network across your region, franchise district managers, etc. Help VPs to build relationships with those key regional/market individuals
  • Support Commercial Financial Services (CFS) team to deliver the desired client experience, helping grow and create wealth
  • Support CFS teams to proactively plan for and have meaningful contact with franchise clients to understand their needs, circumstances and satisfaction with RBC
  • Partner with sales leaders, operations and risk partners to bring the best of RBC to clients
  • Through early coaching, guide VP CFS in their routines with relationship managers to ensure franchise clients are aligned to home of best fit anchored appropriately
  • Seek to identify service gaps and where possible implement measures to improve (e.g., removal of client irritants). Take ownership when client problems are escalated
  • Take ownership and resolve client concerns at first point of contact, escalate when appropriate

What will you do ?

  • Manage Regional pipeline of franchisees and support local market VPs and Commercial Account Managers (CAM) to convert high value prospects into clients.
  • Support CAMs and VPs in identifying and planning for T1 brand targeting and growth
  • Enable CAMs and VPs to acquire new business f through a deep knowledge of the franchise industry
  • Ensure the CFS teams are always listening for, pursuing and referring franchise acquisition opportunities
  • Ensure prospects are anchored with the appropriate local VPs / CAMs support to the close of the sale
  • Collaborate with partners to help acquire new target franchise clients; build and maintain a network aligned with your specialization and target market
  • Support the CFS teams on growing franchise client relationships through discovery and documenting client's goals and opportunities
  • Build strong brand, product, structuring and pricing acumen among the CFS teams, enabling advice based recommendations for a range of products and services as well as cross partnering activities
  • Build and grow enterprise clients strategy, partnering with businesses in wealth management (Private Banking, RBC Dominion Securities, PH&N). Coach teams to ensure a business owner plan is established for every MUO within Franchise sector
  • Support/collaborate in strategic planning sessions with inmarket sales teams to plan and prioritize client, coaching and market activities to win as One RBC
  • Deliver strong business results growing market share and business volumes
