The Inside Sales Representative works closely with our Business Development Team to establish strong customer relations. This position is in our Head Office in Milton, Ontario.


The POSITION and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Proactively following up with our customers and their satisfaction with Connectrans service by addressing concerns or queries
  • Supports the Business Development team as needed
  • Communicate rate actions, notable trends, policies, and other relevant information to assigned accounts

The INDIVIDUAL and QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A minimum of two years of transportation management industry experience in sales, operations, or customer service.
  • Indepth knowledge of sales processes to support the Business Development sales managers as advisors to meet a customer's expectations
  • Ability to think critically and rationally in resolving salesrelated concerns
  • Ability to embrace the changing needs of our customers and provides creative solutions to issues
  • Takes the initiative to naturally engage with prospective customers through various channels to identify potential new business opportunities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate longterm relationships with customers
  • Wellorganized, detailoriented, enthusiastic, and confident with a rollupyoursleeves attitude towards work
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and TMS (Trimble Truck Mate) software.
  • Customs/Border crossing experience preferred.
