We are Systematix and we are looking for a
ServiceNow Business Analyst to fill a 6-month+ contract position with one of our National Media Clients in their Toronto, Montreal, or Ottawa offices.

(Bilingualism, French/English, is preferred but NOT required).

The opportunity:


As a business analyst, your role will consist of analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, change requests, and translating business terms into technical terms in order to liaise with TI's various development teams within the corporate solutions portfolio.

Your creativity and your open-mindedness will be put forward to find innovative solutions to complex requests.

You will lead workshops to identify needs, help partners clarify their vision, list business components, identify opportunities for improvements, and document options in a clear and consistent manner.

Being detail-oriented, you must take the time to clearly articulate needs and/or problems. You must demonstrate strong communication skills in interactions with various stakeholders, use technical terms with TI team members vs. common terms with business partners.


You will have to operate within very tight deadlines in an evolving environment, ensuring that processes are optimized according to best practices while demonstrating the ability to proactively research and analyze opportunities using all available resources and tools: internet, intranets, colleagues, whitepapers, etc.

You will also be required to coordinate activities by collaborating in the development of preliminary work plans, user
acceptance tests, and by regularly informing the responsible manager of the risks and problems encountered.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have high proficiency in ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders by gathering, documenting and analyzing their requirements to understand, document and/or restructure current business processes.
  • Contribute to the followup of each project to ensure that the desired results are achieved.
  • Keep management informed on all deliverables and/or related activities.
  • Lead the effort on the analysis and resolution of deficiencies.
  • Participate actively in multiple scrum teams to deliver solutions iteratively and incrementally.
  • Liaise between endusers / stakeholders and the different internal departments.
  • Ensure that noncompliances (bugs and/or deficiencies) are communicated to the provider via the problem tracking system.
  • Initiate, lead and conduct meetings with the vendor and/or endusers as well as other project members.
  • Ensure that discussion points and requirements are captured and distributed to relevant parties for followup and closure.
  • If necessary, conduct knowledge transfer exercises with the supplier and/or endusers.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the provider and/or company project teams

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or College Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of experience in business process analysis positions.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a B/A or SME working with ServiceNow
  • Certification: Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) an asset.
  • Proven knowledge of requirements collection, documentation and analysis methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and openmindedness to find solutions. Demonstrated creativity in developing technical solutions in response to clients' and projects' needs.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written is an asset, but not required.
  • Critical thinking ability to question and recommend new ideas.
  • Good general knowledge and intellectual curiosity (for the acquisition and development of new knowledge).
