Trouw Nutrition is hiring... we're looking to add a
Poultry Researcher to our Validation Team in the Guelph, ON area.


Are you passionate about advancing the field of animal nutrition and health? Do you have a keen interest in poultry research? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Validation Team as a Poultry Researcher, reporting to the Research Manager.

This position is based in Canada, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of Trouw Nutrition products.


A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Poultry Researcher, you will be an integral part of our Validation Team, contributing to the success of our research initiatives


Your responsibilities will include:

Collaboration: Develop and nurture relationships with leading research institutions in Canada.

Business Case Support: Assist in the preparation of
business cases for research initiatives. Prepare and
review protocols for Trouw Nutrition product validation trials.

  • Support the development and execution of
    research agreements, managing contract payment schedules.

Trial Monitoring: Ensure the successful execution of animal trials, addressing challenges as they arise.

Reporting: Prepare and review trial reports, communicating outcomes to research, business, and technical teams globally.

Liaison and Collaboration: Collaborate with global and local TN technical teams, participating in poultry portfolio and technical meetings; present findings at conferences.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • PhD (preferred) or MSc with technical/R&D experience in animal nutrition and/or animal health.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian poultry industry.
  • Proven track record in R&D study management.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effective oral and written
    Communication Skills in English (French an asset).
  • Ability to function as a
    team player within a multifunctional team with mínimal supervision.
  • Strong data (and statistical)
    analysis and interpretation skills.

Adaptability: Desire to develop new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

  • Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international
    travel.
