Sureway Construction Group of Companies is currently hiring a FT Temporary
-
Industrial Cleaner (Night Shift) located in Edmonton, AB starting beginning of April 2023.

Shift: 7:30pm-5:30am.

Description:

Reporting to the foreman, the job of the Industrial Cleaner is to keep the site clean and organized. Shift will be 10 hours in duration (4-6 days/week). Must be willing to work weekends. OT after 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Commercial Industrial Cleaner include, but are not limited to:

Clean surfaces in lunchrooms, offices, restrooms, and shop area.
Vacuum and mopping of flooring.
Empty trash and recycling.
Respond to cleanup requests as necessary.
Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
Other duties as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Previous custodian, janitorial or housekeeping experience is required.
Valid Class 5 (non GDL) Drivers License
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Capable of working independently, as well as, in a team environment.
Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6" ankle support.
