Rotation/Shifts:

Days, 8 hour shifts (08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00).

Basic Requirements:

Secondary school diploma (Grade 12);
One (1) year previous related experience with clinical funding programs in health care or health insurance setting;
Successful completion of The Ottawa Hospital medical terminology selfdirected learning program or certification in medical terminology from a recognized educational institutuion;
Basic Excel;
Experience with literature searches;
General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry;
Sound knowledge of the Ontario Drug Benefit Formulary;
Sound knowledge of Word, Outlook and OPIS;
Ability to collect and analyze statistical data;
Ability to develop rapport with patients, stakeholders and clinicians;
Ability to work independently, with empathy and remotely with broader team members;
Ability to train and mentor new staff;
Ability to make decisions using sound judgment and work under stress;
Eligible to work in Canada.
