Reporting to the Head of OperationsDuties & Responsibilities
- As the primary point of contact for clients, manage the lifecycle of client relationships including but not limited to lead generation, quote preparation, papering/contracting, closing, postinitiation followup, project closeout.
- Lead key meetings e.g., pitches, deep dive analysis of client¿s needs.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding services to existing clients.
- Create sales and marketing materials e.g., pitch decks, request for proposals.
- Obtain applicable leadership approvals for quotes, proposals, contracts, and other materials.
- Support the development of strategic marketing and branding priorities.
- Maintain functional and technical knowledge of all services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor¿s degree in business, marketing, related field or a combination of equivalent experience and education. A master¿s in business administration or marketing is a strong asset.
- 2 years of sales and/or business development experience in a Clinical Research Organization, pharmaceutical firm, or life sciences firm.
- Demonstrated experience in account management, business development, and sales.
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Advanced abilities to create and deliver clear, engaging, and compelling sales presentations to clients.
- Experience with budgeting for pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials is an asset.
- Experience with healthcare or clinical research is an asset.
