Position:
Child Development Worker

Available Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Starting Wage:
$ per hour based on education

and/or experience
**Reports to: Child Development Lead

Family Services of Central Alberta is currently seeking Child Development employees
to support children's programming. These programs operate at various times and
hours are flexible.

Position Summary
To offer warm, consistent, safe and stimulating play-based childcare to all children
participating in programs. Be creative in program planning. To communicate with
parents and children in a positive and appropriate manner.

Qualifications -
Experience working with children in either home, school, daycare, or

childcare-based agency.

ELCD and First Aid an asset
Strong social and communication skills
Highenergy, positive, warm and patient personality.
Possess imagination and creativity, nonjudgmental (accepting of all approaches

to parenting)

_Duties include:

Hands-on care for children in programs

Plan and implement creative children's activities and programming
Role model positive communication and behaviours with children and parents
Work as part of a team and participate in staff meetings
