    Belcan Inc. is looking for a System Safety Engineer to help with planning, identifying and mitigating hazards and risks.

    As a System Safety Engineer, you will be:

    o Defining safety requirements and flow down; prepare PSSA and Safety Plan
    oConducting systems safety analysis, leading FMEA
    oValidating safety objectives are met through FHA, preparing the SSA

    o Participating in various safety regulations and recommend modifications to existing design and ensure compliance to all organization requirements and administer all human safety.

    oConducting technical analysis, developing solutions to problems encountered during development and in-service
    oPerforming risk assessments in support of fleet management strategies for continued airworthiness
    oEvaluating all system safety engineering requirements and coordinate with company engineers to maintain quality of all processes.
    oHelping with the development of new processes and analytical tools


    Required Job Qualifications:
    oBachelor"s degree with 6 to 10 years of experience
    oMaster"s degree with 4 to 7 years of experience

    oField of study:
    Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
    o Experience working with gas turbine engines in the aerospace industry is considered an asset


    Skills and Knowledge:
    o A strong interest in discipline leadership, with solid teamwork, troubleshooting, and systems thinking capability
    oContributes to the team by applying their advanced knowledge to lead and develop disciplines such as fire safety, FMEA, or fleet risk management
