HERO CARE has a proven track record in providing our contract/travel nurses with a variety of exciting, positive and unique working experiences.

Our team is now expanding our staffing services to provide contracts to Registered Nurses across Canada


QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY:


  • PSW Certification In Good Standing
  • Current CPR
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Vulnerable Sector Screen renewed within the year
  • Professional Liability Insurance OPSWA

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Plans and manages patient/client care according to each patient's needs.
  • Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
  • Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
  • Provides routine care for patients.
  • Observes patients' health.
  • Accompanies patients to their rooms.
  • Assists physicians and registered nurses.
  • Communicates with patients and their families.
  • Administers medications.
  • Assists with patient comfort.
  • Monitor catheters.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:


  • Admitting new residents
  • Assisting physicians during rounds of residents' rooms

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Must comply with:

  • Human Resource, Corporation, and Department Policies
  • Must provide satisfactory vulnerable sector check
