The Opportunity

We are in search of a skilled Insurance & Benefits Associate to join our expanding team in the picturesque seaside town of Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. Our team enjoys a modern, hybrid working environment with a flexible work-life balance approach. In this crucial role, you will collaborate closely with our seasoned team to deliver personalized solutions for our clients. Your duties will cover various aspects of our operations, including life and living insurance solutions, group insurance, client relationship management, insurance processing, and operational support, all contributing to our mission of instilling financial confidence.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Client Relationship Management

• Foster and uphold strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication.
• Conduct comprehensive client reviews to grasp their insurance requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, promptly addressing their needs.
• Maintain our client relationship management (CRM) platform and client service matrix meticulously and efficiently.

2. Group Insurance

• Aid in devising and executing comprehensive group insurance (employee benefits) proposals tailored to each client's specific situation.
• Collaborate with our team and partners to pinpoint opportunities for optimizing clients' group insurance solutions to align with their long-term goals.
• Conduct research and analysis on life and living insurance solutions.
• Carry out annual group insurance renewal reviews as needed, either independently or in a supportive role.

3. Life & Living Insurance

• Assist in creating and implementing thorough life & living insurance proposals customized to each client's unique needs, including life, disability, critical illness, and health insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with our team and partners to identify chances for enhancing clients' insurance solutions to meet their long-term objectives.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis on life and living insurance products.

4. Operational Support

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of all necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to carry out client transactions, such as account openings, insurance illustrations, quotes, and applications.
• Maintain precise records and documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and internal protocols.
• Engage in community networking opportunities that support growth initiatives.

• Preferably, a degree or certificate in business administration or a related field, with a bonus for holding the LLQP, life licensing. (Note: LLQP course completion and licensing will be necessary within the first six months of employment).
• Prior experience in financial services, particularly in a small business setting, is advantageous.
