About the Communications Advisor role
As Communications Advisor, you will report to and work closely with the Communications Manager. In this role, you will provide communication advice to Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada's various departments. You will contribute to the organization's communication projects through the design, development and dissemination of information to employees.

Our organization is growing and has many communication needs. You will help implement and roll out several communication tools within the organization.


You will also contribute to our organization's branding and business development strategy by developing and managing our various social network communities.

Lastly, you will help develop corporate events while fostering a personalized and collaborative approach under occasionally tight deadlines.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting the communication needs of the organization's various departments and support them throughout their projects
  • Developing creative and innovative communication plans for each mandate assigned to you
  • Writing and revising various communications and integrating them into our mass mailing tool
  • Managing our social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Planning and coordinating the organization's internal and external events
  • Analyzing issues to be addressed in organizing internal events to meet objectives and helping manage said events
  • Helping update intranet content
  • Participating in the rollout of various communication tools
  • Supporting their manager in any other related task that helps achieve management mandates.

About the profile we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Communications or equivalent work experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in English and French to meet communication needs across Canada
  • A conscientious and thorough approach in the quality of the projects you deliver
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Indepth knowledge of the various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
