Indochine is a small quick service Asian Fusion restaurant located near the new YMCA on South Park Street in Halifax.
We have a reputation for offering excellent food and customer service. Since opening in 2010 we have developed a loyal customer following that is expanding year over year.- Establish a friendly, positive culture for staff and customers
- Direct staff in daytoday operations
- Use strong time management skills and attention to detail to complete tasks
- Ensure consistency with recipes and food preparation
- Be familiar with all recipes and know how to do all prep
- Manage inventory
- Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant
- Troubleshoot and address issues as they arise (equipment, technology, etc.)
- Be available to respond to issues or emergencies outside normal working hours in Manager's absence.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- A passion for high quality food and familiarity with Asian cuisine
- Outstanding customer service skills including interaction & communication
- Experience with inventory management
- Good mathematical skills
- Strong problem solving skills ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues when they arise
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for use of company vehicle)
