Primary Responsibilities

Manage print production to ensure completion of assignments within project deadlines
Responsible for safety, quality and productivity of manufacturing facility
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the day to day work activities of production team workers
Delegate job assignments to appropriate workers to ensure steady workflow
Conduct the orientation and training of new employees and employees in new positions, covering company health and safety practices and procedures
Operate various pieces of equipment involved in production, including scissor lifts, forklifts, and measurement equipment
Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness and organization of production facility
Ensure all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and all workers and in compliance with government and company PPE standards
Enforce and work in accordance with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations
Inventory management for all equipment and hardware
Inspect, segregate finished package, remove and replace any defectives
Measure finished graphics for creating packing material
Replenish packaging materials such as: boxes, tubes, tapes, bubble wraps, etc.
Organize Kitting Jobs to complete on schedule for shipping
Position requires standing/bending for 8 hours a day
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

High School or equivalent is required
5+ years' experience as a foreman managing a shop with 5 or more employees
2+ years related shipping and receiving experience
Forklift/Scissor Shift Certification would be a great asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work evenings and overnight shifts
Exceptional leadership skills to guide and mentor employees
Must be able to review detailed spreadsheets for launches
Must be computer literate
Must possess basic math skills and be able to perform precise imperial measurements
Must be able to lift and move 50lbs without assistant from floor to shoulder height
