DESCRIPTION:

Homestead Land Holdings Limited, one of Canada's largest privately held owner/developer/manager of multi-residential apartments, is seeking a full-time, Engineering & Building Services, Administrative Assistant in Burlington.

Responsibilities:

Provide diversified administrative support to our Engineering and Building Services Department in a fastpaced office environment
Handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Preparation of various letters, reports, spreadsheets, contracts, and meeting minutes
Accounts Payable
Preparing biweekly payroll file
Assist in onboarding of new team members
Responsible for a variety of general office duties
Carry out special projects
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

Postsecondary education in an administrative or businessrelated discipline is preferred
Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
High level of technical competence using computers, including Microsoft Office
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Autodesk, Yardi and internet usage
Excellent keyboarding skills
Strong work ethic
Professional articulate manner
High level of attention to detail, accuracy and followup
Efficient time manager with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
