Your role will involve:
- Planning, executing, monitoring and completing the project in a business environment.
- Creating and maintaining a detailed project schedule and integrated plan for implementation.
- Developing regular project status reports, communicating project status and progress to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Coordinating all activities on assigned projects while collaborating with other personnel business partners and external vendors.
- Planning and participating in preimplementation software testing.
- Coordinating installation with user departments and IT and track analyse and keep management abreast of project process.
- Creating user manuals and preparing job aids for all impacted departments and coordinate training for all impacted staff prior to software implementation.
- Proactively identifying and managing project risks, issues and recommending mitigation strategies in collaboration with the vendor for decision making.
- Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Evaluating project outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Informatics, Business or Computer Sciences.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, clinical system, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit organizations.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing complex IT projects and programs from initiation to completion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams and external vendors.

- Experience with project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Experience in liaising with customers/stakeholders where customer service was a key focus to responding to queries, issues/risk management, etc.
- Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle is required.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police check (completed within last 12 months).
- Knowledge of healthcare or nonprofit organizations is an asset.
This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and you must provide Lumacare with proof of vaccination prior to employment.
