Key Accountabilities


We're looking for a leader who demonstrates a focus on exceptional change, and measurable results, and is an active contributor amongst a Senior Leadership team of peers.

The position would serve to be the internal trusted advisor in providing strategic thought leadership and delivery of strategic agenda to achieve financial and operational plans, with robust framework for implementation.

This individual is the strategy lead for Technology responsible for driving strategy project portfolios, tracking our strategic initiatives to deliver on our strategy and to ensure execution excellence.

The position will report directly to the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will collaborate closely with the Global Strategy and Transformation team.


The Technology Strategy team runs the strategic planning process to ensure our initiatives are aligned to the overall ambition and strategic direction of the organization with clear roadmaps and KPIs, while maintaining a reporting cadence demonstrating value against the organizational investment in Technology.

The primary purpose of the position is to support Technology with driving business prioritization, performance and executing the broader change agenda across the organization.


Responsibilities

Develop high impact strategies in partnership with Group CIO, Segment CIO's and their Strategy leads
Define and maintain Technology Strategic Planning Program that aligns with partners

Establish and update Global Technology Strategy on a regular basis to ensure Technology is aligned to delivering against corporate objectives

Drive the annual strategic planning process with Finance and facilitate dialogue around prioritization of key strategic and transformational initiatives

Drive strategic alignment across Segments and Countries to ensure strategic projects are relevant and aligned to the strategic goals and our approved Book of Work

Actively monitor and share with leadership key strategic and financial results of peers relative to Technology's own progress

Execute on specific strategic projects aligned to overall Tech strategy

Act as strategic counsel to the Group CIO on an ongoing basis


Ensure clear governance and seamless execution, closely monitor progress, and communicate results

  • Oversee strategic initiatives to meet financial and nonfinancial targets.
  • Partner with stakeholders to monitor progress against the strategy aspirations and work with the Segment CIOs to develop specific action plans to ensure progress remains on track, includes oversight of Technology KPI and Metrics reported at executive and board levels.
  • Execute our strategic plan to deliver financial and operational targets, generate momentum to exceed financial and nonfinancial aspirations.
  • Drive the communication of the strategy throughout the organization and beyond in partnership with the Group CIO and the executive team including ensuring effective strategic dialogue and timely updates on progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with Finance to establish and maintain a benefits framework to inform executives on both spend and benefit forecast
