Summary:


The Contracts and Quality Coordinator will reach out to collaborate with all levels in the organization to support the Contract Compliance program and deliverables of the Quality Management System.


As a Contracts and Quality Coordinator, You Will:

Major role outcomes

Claims and Sub Contractor Management

  • Working with the Contract Compliance Team by organizing information, in order to support the contract compliance and construction claims and issues resolution process
  • Researching contract specifications and review of documents
  • Develop working draft responses to correspondence, disputes/claims and extension of time requests
  • Coordinating a claims review process based on established review protocols for contracts as issued by various owners

Quality Management System Administration

  • Working with the the QMS Manager and the quality team in developing presentations, manuals, bulletins and proposals
  • Develop and maintain trackers to monitor the progress of contracts and associated quality metrics
  • Liaise with QMS representatives from the various divisions to obtain quality statistics for reporting and assist with presenting the data in a clear format.
  • Research contract specifications to assist in interpreting specifications or addressing quality issues

What You Will Bring ?:


  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills to trouble shoot issues system and process discrepancies
  • Ability to relate well with all kinds of people and build effective relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Prior experience dealing with major change/claims management/dispute resolution issues an asset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and ability to learn and utilize new software
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems an asset
  • Awareness of construction and contract change law considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written English skills are essential
  • Strong presentation design skills are essential
