This is a hybrid position based out of our Toronto Support Centre and reports to the Senior Manager, SEO.

The SEO Manager will lead programs within the dentalcorp SEO channel and will be instrumental in enhancing patient acquisition by improving rankings, driving traffic, and boosting conversions for our network of dental practice websites.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the SEO program for approximately 500 dental practice websites, taking full ownership of project delivery and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain SEO reporting dashboards, focusing on key organic performance indicators (e.g., Organic and local rankings, traffic, conversions).
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Analyze the performance of dental practice websites and local listings to uncover organic growth opportunities.
  • Monitor web analytics data to assess the impact of executed projects.
  • Implement content changes across websites using a content management system.
  • Stay up to date with the latest search marketing trends and share insights with the team and management.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team and external vendors (e.g., web developers, content writers) to enhance overall holistic marketing performance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and vendor teams to meet or exceed established goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of search marketing strategies.
  • Utilize various SEO research tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, Frase, Local Falcon, AWR, Google Search Console, etc.) to gain insights into organic performance.
  • Consistently seek innovative ways to improve performance and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team on priority projects.
  • Write technical tickets and user stories to improve technical SEO and UX
  • Write detailed content briefs to guide writers in creating wellpositioned content from the outset.
What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of handson SEO experience, with a focus on managing large websites and/or 30+ location businesses.
  • Proven ability to leverage trend analyses in rankings, traffic, conversions, etc., to develop SEO content and technical SEO initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices and ranking strategies.
  • Experience in implementing search initiatives, including content management, external link acquisition, technical SEO changes, and local SEO management.
  • Strong knowledge of foundational web technologies (HTML; CSS; JS; DNS)
  • Strong crossfunctional collaboration skills, working with web development, content, design, and paid marketing teams to plan and implement SEO programs.
  • Proficiency in various SEO analytics and research tools and platforms, such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, STAT, SEMrush, Local Falcon, AWR, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Familiarity with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • A track record of increasing rankings, traffic, and revenue through the execution of SEO strategies and tactics.
  • Strong technical aptitude, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze data effectively.
  • Enthusiasm, selfmotivation, and the capacity to proactively lead projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of improvement.
  • Innovative and creative mindset, coupled with a logical and methodical problemsolving approach.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both French and English considered an asset.
  • Handson experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) considered an asset.
  • Previous experience managing large multilocation SEO programs considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working with healthcare companies considered an asset.
  • Programming capabilities; ideally working with Python, Javascript or any other relevant languages considered an asset.
