Resource Consultant - Milton, Canada - Community Living North Halton
Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in Resource Teaching/Consulting or equivalent recognized by the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA).
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in an inclusive child care setting is required.
- Familiarity with the _Child Care and Early Years Act_ and fluency with the Ministry of Education documents _Emergent Curriculum _and _How Does Learning Happen Pedagogy._
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
DUTIES:
- Coach, consult and coordinate service.
- Work independently and as part of a team and be flexible and responsive to shifting service demands.
- Work using familycentered and strengthbased practices.
- Implement and interpret screens and assessments.
HOURS OF WORK:
Committed to regular 80 hour bi-weekly schedule that meets the needs of the service we provide.

From $25.11 per hour
