Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Talent, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support and/or conduct full-cycle recruitment across Canada.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection
- Identify gaps and recommend or initiate improvement activities to ensure Gentek Canada recruitment processes are aligned with those established by the Director or Talent, or best practices.
- Post job ads to the applicable job board(s) to attract top talent.
- Revise and/or create job ads in collaboration with VP
- HR, Canada
- Complete phone screening
- Schedule interviews for Hiring Manager(s), and participate in interviews where appropriate
- Complete reference checks, when applicable.
- Establish additional recruitment plans, such as internships or coop placements.
- Maintain the Headcount Requisition log.
- With the assistance of the Director of Talent and the VP
- HR, Canada
- Monitor and maintain the Employee Referral Program.
- Monitor and analyze data and metrics
- Communicate to the VP
- HR and/or the HR Managers any concerns of noncompliance in the process or activity of Hiring Managers
- Develop and conduct training for new Managers on proper recruitment and selection practices and how to navigate the various platforms available (eg. Smart Recruiters).
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources
- Minimum 4 years' recruiting experience
- Experience on job boards like Smart Recruiters and Indeed is critical
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong general administrative skills including attention to detail
- Bilingualism an asset
Behavioural Competencies and Physical Environment demands:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with time sensitivity
- Office environment, mainly sedentary work (combination of sit/stand).
