Salary:
Hourly, commensurate with experience

  • Shift: 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday, Every 4th5th weekend 10am6:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver/pickup equipment, medication or supply parcels
  • Assemble medical equipment
  • Complete and submit delivery documentation/paperwork
  • Use of computer scanner technology
  • Complete pre/post trip vehicle inspection
  • Communicate with clients regarding parcel delivery and pick up
  • Load/unload vehicle using safe lifting practices
  • Report delivery issues to dispatcher and/or Customer Service Representatives

Qualifications:

  • Must be computer literate
  • Commitment to deliver excellent internal and external customer service
  • Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
  • Experience with assembly and installation of home medical equipment is an asset
  • Must be able to lift upwards to 75lbs
  • Completion of Secondary Education
  • Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a delivery driver
  • Good knowledge of the region
  • Health and safety awareness training is an asset
  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check is required
  • Must have active full driver's license in Ontario and produce a clean driver's abstract; company vehicle will be provided
