ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/BOOKKEEPER


Working hours are very flexible for example if you need to drop off and pick up a child from school.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform full cycle bookkeeping
  • Post customer invoices in the Odoo software, collections and invoice reconciliations.
  • Maintains manual and computerized filing for records/documents.
  • Data entry in the computer system
  • Assist Senior Accountant with analytics
  • Operates office equipment and computers utilizing a variety of software packages (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Answer some telephone and electronic enquiries, relay telephone calls and messages within the company.
  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail
  • Handle postage, mailing and light banking
  • Perform related and other duties as assigned from time to time

Skills and Experience

  • High School graduation required
  • Strong Experience in bookkeeping, accounting.
  • Excellent data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills, including setting priorities
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous clerical experience in an office environment is an asset but not required

  • High school or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years experience as a bookkeeper
