What is the opportunity?


Cash Management Product Organization focus on establishing product vision, strategy and roadmap for the newly established Cash Management business in RBC US.

The PMO Head will manage the program governance, financials, communications, resource onboarding, as well as coordinate program end to end plan and delivery.


In addition you will develop and deliver communication and implementation plans for all value streams that touch internal and external stake holders to ensure initiatives land with impact, are well activated, embedded and sustained to have the desired outcome.


What will you do?

  • Responsible for Program governance, change control, change management, financial management oversight, and audit compliance
  • Leads effort for Vendor SOW and Invoice Management, Issue, Risks and Dependencies Management and Project Budget Management
  • Works with Head of Business Management to establish Portfolio structure including roles & responsibilities
  • Provides direction and oversight to the PMO
  • Planning and monitoring program development to ensure that quality standards and goals are achieved.
  • Managing all aspects of an organizational program to ensure all projects within the program are implemented, accepted and accomplished within a set deadline.
  • Partners with Program Product Owners & Program Delivery Leads for Critical Path planning for Market Viable Product and post Market Viable Product Launch
  • Maintaining a project schedule
  • Provides Program and executive management with accurate and timely information for decisionmaking. Assist senior team members in monitoring and tracking action items and decisions for each value stream.
  • Establish Program standard processes & procedures in compliance with enterprise policy on project risk, and in alignment with industry best practices
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure Agile, JIRA and Confluence training is available to team members
  • Assist in creating reports for Operating Committee, Executive committee and other management reporting and communication materials
  • Provide support for portfolio's daytoday operations (including real estate, resource forecasting etc.)

What you need to succeed?

  • Bachelors Degree, with a focus in finance or management preferred
  • 5+ years of experience throughout the project lifecycle; planning, design, development and delivery (in both Agile and Iterative Waterfall Methodologies) with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities; as well as a project management mindset
  • General knowledge of endtoend project management lifecycle
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Experience leading o
    r shaping large transformational efforts
    preferred
  • Broad network and ability to influence across the organization is critical
  • Experienced in Agile way of working (e.g., manage backlog, track impediments, quick iterations with done better than perfect)
  • Exceptional comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to move forward independently to identify opportunities to add value
  • Strong communication (oral & written) and presentation skills with the integrity and confidence to liaise with executives and senior management
  • Strong project management, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build sustainable, trusted relationships across the organization
  • Proven experience interacting with senior level, negotiating and management/alignment across teams, business partners and leaders across RBC
