Maintenance/Service Technician. Vale Industries is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with lots of opportunity for

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inhouse Equipment
Lead internal maintenance and preventative maintenance program
Learn all aspects of all production machinery
Repair equipment as required
Hire outside vendors when required
Help equipment suppliers with new equipment installs (ie. paint gun install)
Perform inspections as required
Provide lists of parts/services required for maintenance
Other tasks as required from time to time
PDI on Assembled Product
Perform final inspection of assembled product
Documentation
Report out results and ensure NCRs are followed up on and closed
Assist yard forklift operator loading of large units

**Education and Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics
A broad knowledge of the selection and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the

satisfactory performance of duties

Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills

**Knowledge Areas and Experience: - Strong group work and communications skills

An organized and diligent work style
Good people skills and the ability to communicate well with customers
Mechanically inclined and have good knowledge of tools and their capabilities
An intuitive technical/mechanical understanding of machines
Heavy Duty/ Agricultural Equipment Mechanic/ Millwright experience an asset
