Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Arrange for open houses, making sure units are ready and presentable to prospective tenants
  • At the direction of the Property Manager and in conjunction with the Building Manager arrange showings to potential tenants
  • Provide excellent customer service when greeting and touring prospective tenants in the unit & building while conducting showings and open houses and encouraging prospective tenants to apply, and if a tenant wants to proceed pass the tenant on to the Lease Admin team.
  • Respond professionally and timely to all tenants, prospects, and associates
  • Maintain an awareness of the local market and competitor offerings, and providing feedback to the Property Manager
  • Provide weekly updates on the unit showings, open houses, and prospective tenants sent to the Leasing Admin team
  • Handle telephone and electronic communications with prospective tenants, including facetoface walkthroughs of the display units
  • Work with the broader Investment Properties division on a variety of projects to improve leasing processes.
  • Continually evaluate how we do business, and champion continuous improvement ideas to streamline processes, add automation, and reduce manual work.
  • This position will require weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and evening work to communicate with prospective tenants and to show available units to prospective tenants.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 13 years of experience in real estate, with outside clients, handling confidential information, multiple priorities and stringent deadlines is ideal.
  • Completion of postsecondary education or equivalent is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of rental property management is an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize work, communicate those priorities and deliver as promised are key qualities to succeed in this role.
  • Advanced computer skills are essential (e.g. Microsoft Windows and Office suite), as well, strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written English skills.
  • Ability to problemsolve and search for solutions with mínimal guidance.

A current, valid BC driver's license and access to a vehicle with insurance is requirements of the role.

Compensation:

$ $33.00 per hour


Schedule:20 hours per week, must be available on weekends
