Administrative Assistant - Construction

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide daily online updates for all open jobs
- soliciting requests, obtaining required forms, and uploading them to each job
- scheduling between trades and vendors
- communicating daily with administrative personnel and all construction project managers
- communicating with homeowners
- labeling and uploading detailed construction job photos
- following through to be sure all timelines are met
- demonstrating the Paul Davis values of integrity, excellence, and outstanding customer service


Competency - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan, direct and organize projects
  • Schedule management
  • Solid organization skills including multitasking and timemanagement
  • Ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction would be an asset

Required Education and Experience

  • Administrator Certification or higher
  • Experience with achieving results and exceeding goals
  • Experience in the restoration industry regarding water mitigation, and reconstruction.

Physical Requirement

  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside offices to review franchisees business setup/model
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with franchisees over the phone and face to face
