Independent Contractor - Various Skills

We here at Guardium are looking for Contractors in various trades to assist us in our rapidly growing renovations division.

You will be responsible for demonstrating knowledge and skills relating to your trade, and upholding a professional demeanor and attitude in the workplace.

Contractors will be responsible for technical installations, repairs, clean-up, and any services post install that may be required.

This position is best suited for individuals who are self motivated, highly skilled in their trade, and able to handle complex instructions and work closely with customers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

Install, and test equipment related to your trade.
Complete work as laid out by specifications and blueprints.
Uphold responsibilities stipulated by any contractual agreement with Guardium.
Work Closely with customers on site.
Adhere to the safety policies and practices laid out by the Canadian building code and any other code books related to your specific trade.
Inspection of work and quality there o.

Job Qualifications:

Have Previous related work experience in the following areas
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Drywall, Flooring, Painting, Carpentry, Landscaping, Home Security.
Certificate of Qualification for red seal trades.
Ability to adapt and adjust with changing plans.
Can work independently or within a team of various trades.
Valid Drivers License and abstract.
Fluent in English, verbal, and written communication.
Pass of a Criminal Record Check.
Pass of a reference Check.
