Role and Responsibilities
In a development environment that includes multidisciplinary teams responsible for the complete Hardware prototype designs (value stream), you will be expected to manage the Technical aspect of the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible/owner of CnDR (Conceptual Design Review).
- Be responsible/owner of PDR (Hardware portion of Preliminary Design Review).
- Be responsible/owner of CDR (Hardware portion of Critical Design Review).
- Review project requirements in Doors.
- Be technical POC for the project.
- Be responsible to make sure technical solutions are adequate and inline with reference solutions.
- Lead and provide project team with guidance and technical expertise.
- Recommend development/training program required to enhance skill set of work team members.
- You will provide support to internal and external clients.
- Analyzing feasibility of projects and creating proof of concepts.
- Implementing system architectures and validating their efficiency.
- Mentoring colleagues with less experience, through training sessions and knowledge transfer.
- Ability to achieve consensus on key design issues.
- Ability to develop a professional, quality and service focused relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills, leadership, good team spirit and process management skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills. Ability to manage risk, project scope, and resources.
- Availability to travel.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
