We are welcoming you home to The Hamlets at Vernon in Vernon BC where we operate independent living assisted living supportive living and memory living communities in Alberta and British Columbia Our Vision For every person to feel at home This is truly supported by our credo Let us welcome you home All of us here feel it an honor to work with our residents and advocate resident centered approach where the Resident the focus all our endeavors We have an opening for Licensed Practical Nurse who will provide professional nursing care residents including medication administration as well as mentoring coaching unregulated staff Responsibilities include developing care plans medication administration directing assisting care aides creating managing nursing care plans participating evaluation current future medical needs providing personal assistance nursing procedures mentorship coaching Health Care Aides working residents meet care requirements communicating concerns doctor manager needed ensuring accordance provincial continuing care health service standards legislation codes regulations employment safety statutes demonstrating awareness accident injury prevention safe work practices procedures Qualifications Experience completion Nursing diploma registration provincial nursing regulatory body good standing experience residential setting preferred infection control procedures exceptional interpersonal skills peers residents visitors operational partners superior organizational skills handle multi resident requests oral written communication skills prioritize problem solve flexibility work variety shifts ability stand extended periods time bend squat kneel lift pounds display compassion education proficiency experience assisting residents Conditions Employment completion CPR First Aid clear Police Information Check clear Vulnerable Sector Check
