Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation
  • Create and develop menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
  • Ensure highquality food is consistently prepared and presented to customers
  • Manage inventory and control costs to meet budgetary guidelines
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep workers
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with frontofhouse staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures

Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Ability to create innovative menus that appeal to a diverse range of customers
  • Experience in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of bartending is a plus
