Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation
- Create and develop menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Ensure highquality food is consistently prepared and presented to customers
- Manage inventory and control costs to meet budgetary guidelines
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep workers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with frontofhouse staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to create innovative menus that appeal to a diverse range of customers
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting
- Knowledge of bartending is a plus
Skills:
- Restaurant management 2 years of minimum experience needed as a Head Chef
