Job Duties:


  • Makeready, adjust and run the job as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards.
  • Examine job orders to determine the quantity to be cut, stock specifications and special diecutting instructions.
  • Responsible for the quality of the product. Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
  • Follows established quality control inspection and documentation procedures.
  • Follows product identification procedures.
  • Responsible for accurately written and computer production reports.
  • Perform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of the Die Cutter.
  • Safely perform all tasks on and around press equipment.
  • Attend and participate in ongoing training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience:


  • Experience in Manufacturing/production environment.
  • Minimum 3 years plus prior experience working with Die Cutting machines
  • Flatbed. (preferred)
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in Equipment Preventative Care and Troubleshooting.
  • Must have basic Computer skills.
  • Available to work Weekly Rotational Skills schedule.
  • Must be both familiar with and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).
