MD Financial Management, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Trade Representative to join our team.

As a Trade Representative, you will be responsible for the effective facilitation of trade instructions and responding to on-line, telephone and chat inquiries, from current and prospective clients, as well as internal MD representatives Canada-wide.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

- Facilitate real time and accurate trading related to mutual funds, equities, and fixed income products
- Maintain and monitor outstanding client inquiries and issues, ensuring that established service level standards are met, and appropriate solutions are identified to address administrative errors/problems.
- Be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of MD products and services, market conditions, interest rates and other financial industry news
- You will actively identify and develop opportunities for client retention and lead generation.

The Must Haves:

- University degree in business, commerce or equivalent
- Front-line experience within a contact center environment preferably in the financial services industry
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is a requirement

- Effectuer en temps réel et avec exactitude la négociation précise des fonds communs de placement, des actions et des titres à revenu fixe.
- Effectuer la gestion et le suivi des demandes des clients et des problèmes en suspens en vous assurant que les niveaux de service sont respectés et que des solutions appropriées sont présentées pour régler les erreurs administratives et les problèmes.
- Acquérir des connaissances poussées des produits et services de MD, de la conjoncture des marchés, des taux d'intérêt et de l'actualité du domaine financier et vous tenir à jour.
- Vous travaillerez activement à repérer les occasions de fidéliser la clientèle ou d'obtenir des pistes de prospection.

Formation et expérience
- Diplôme universitaire en administration des affaires, en commerce ou l'équivalent.
- Expérience de première ligne dans un centre d'appels, de préférence dans le secteur des services financiers.
- Réussite du Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada, un atout.
- Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est obligatoire pour ce poste.
