Héroux-Devtek Product Support organization offers Technical Support, Spare Parts, Technical Publications and Worldwide Repair Services to the aircraft manufacturers and operators that use Héroux-Devtek products.


Summary of position:


Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Logistic Agent is responsible of managing the Product Support spares parts warehouse, parts receiving and shipments, quarantine management, and shelf-life management.

As well as making follow-up on opened Purchase Orders and Repair Orders with Suppliers, as required.


Main responsibilities:


  • Manage the Product Support Warehouse operations (receiving, inspection, paperwork
verification, storage, inventory maintenance, picking, packaging and shipping activities).

  • Coordinate shipments with carriers.
  • Responsible of import/export documentation and duties.
  • Perform aircraft parts receptions and shelflife and quarantine management.
  • Validations tasks, web portal transactions, and archive relevant documentation for traceability
purposes (maintain spare parts files and documentation, airworthiness documents, invoices, l
og cards, shelf life, obsolescence, etc.).

  • Followup on open Purchase and Repair Orders with production and MRO facility and assist to
periodic meeting to represent Product Support.

  • Use inventory management software and ERP for inventory control and prepare periodically
inventory reports.

  • Make claims with transport companies if delivered merchandise has been damaged.
  • Handle and stores merchandise or special products that require some knowledge of spontaneous combustion, toxicity, fragility, rapid deterioration, contamination, etc.
  • Oversee the delivery of merchandise following an established schedule and coordinates special deliveries by transmitting the necessary details to the persons concerned.
  • Use equipment necessary for the handling, shifting, or moving of material, such as a hand
truck, forklift, hydraulic platform, etc.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in a similar field would be an asset.
  • Functional French/English.
  • MS office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • ERP system (Baan/SAP) asset
  • Required to work some evenings and weekends in the case of Aircraft on Ground (AOG)
emergencies.

  • Capable of working in a fast pace and changing environment
