SUMMARY
Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, the Administrative Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties related to the Distribution Centre in order to maximize the effectiveness of customer
- service levels.


EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Daily invoicing of orders
  • Processing entries for receiving, vendor claims, and credit notes
  • Enter Warehouse and Direct Ship Purchase Orders for a custom program
  • Assist with physical inventories and reconciliations
  • Process payables for goods and services as required
  • Daily filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning of documents
  • Crosscheck sales order confirmations for accuracy
  • Organize and maintain files for shipsets and receiving documents
  • Maintain office inventory and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for required materials
  • Manage mail and interoffice couriers for all departments

Requirements:


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and able to analyze and assess situations for the best outcome
  • Minimum two years of office experience; preferably from manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Professional telephone skills required with emphasis on customer service
  • Familiar with standard office equipment such as photocopier, mail processing, postage machine, fax, and scanning equipment
  • High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook); ERP systems experience is an asset
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal staff and work in a teamfocused environment

EDUCATION

  • High school graduation is a requirement
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration is an asset
  • Courses in Fundamentals of Accounting are an asset
