Job summary
We are looking for an Associate Data Analyst to join the Marvel Contest of Champions team. This person will pave the way for our internal games team to optimize every facet of player retention and monetization to ensure the continued success of our games.This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
In this role you can expect to provide cross-functional support collaborating with various teams across the organization to understand their business goals and data needs review reporting processes and suggest enhancements to resolve inefficiencies use SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources perform hands-on exploration of data sets to answer business questions maintain a suite of dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of different teams within the organization ensuring that dashboards and reports are up-to-date and accurate prepare ad-hoc reports as requested analyze results results A/B tests draw actionable conclusions conduct data analysis review success newly released products measured against key metrics collaborate with team members achieve project goals efficiently prioritizing tasks managing projects as needed
- Bachelors degree in STEM discipline
- 1-2+ years industry experience solid knowledge statistical methods expert SQL skills experience querying very large data sets proven ability thrive using multiple mixed varied inconsistent data sources fundamental knowledge project management methodologies comfort presenting complicated material diverse audiences experience Google BigQuery Tableau JIRA other project management software experience working social or mobile game developer understanding game design concepts principles
