Summary


The Order Manager is responsible for the effective management of client orders from entry and acknowledgement to pre-delivery, providing administrative support to sales personnel, and accurate and timely service to clients.

Coordinates order management, factory interface, pre-delivery scope of work and closeout of deficiencies. Success within this role requires strong technical aptitude, effective communication skills and ability to self-manage workload under condensed timelines. Order Managers may be assigned to specific clients, or assigned work based on value or complexity of projects.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee the entire order management process, from order placement to delivery
  • Coordinate with various departments such as sales, production, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Utilize systems and software to track and monitor orders, inventory levels, and shipment status
  • Procure necessary materials and components to fulfill orders
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
  • Implement and maintain an effective MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely fabrication of products
Monitor and analyze demand patterns to support effective demand planning
Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline order management processes

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in order management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and other order management software
  • Experience in demand planning and inventory optimization
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus

From $49,500.00 per year
