    THE ROLE


    We are seeking a security professional tojoinour security operations division as part ofthe larger information security team at Power Factors.You will work with ourSecurity Operations Leadtohelp advance our overallinformation security program.This will includeresponding toincidentsescalated fromour 24x7managed SOCandother internal stakeholders.Additionally, you will helpmanage new and existing security tools such as:Endpoint Detection and Response(EDR), Endpoint Privileged Management(EPM), Cloud NativeApplication Protection Platform(CNAPP), and Security Information and Events Management(SIEM) to name a few.Finally, you will be working with our IT and Cloud teams amongotherto help ensure overall security ofkey internal systems such as Microsoft Entra ID and Cloud Environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Respond, analyze, and remediate incidentsescalated fromthe managed SOCand internal stakeholders
    • Investigatepotential phishing emails and suspicious web content
    • Assist the Security Operations Leadtomanagenew and existingsecurity toolsand solutions
    • Work withSecurity Operations Lead andCloud Operations teams to ensure all cloud endpointsand networksare properly securedandmonitored
    • Work withSecurity Operations Lead and theIT team to ensure all user endpoints andidentities are properly secured and monitored

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Security Professional with at least3years of hands-on technical experience
    • Strong understanding ofMicrosoftSentinel
    • Background in working with the Microsoft Defender suite of products
    • Experiencehelping secure cloud endpoints;specifically,those running in Azure, AWS, and GCP– ideally withCloud Native Application Protection Platforms such as Wiz
    • Understandingof identity access management and MFA
    • General understanding of industry standards, compliance, and legal guidelinessuch as NIST CSF, NERC CIP, GDPR
    • Strong understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures(MITRE ATT&CK)
    • Background in system administration
    • Ability to communicate complex security principles across teamsand communicate directly with executives when needed
