Daily Tasks:

  • Assist the team in daily baking
  • Trouble shoot production issues
  • Help with inventory management of finished products and raw materials
  • Manage relationships with customers
  • Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
  • Do a constant visual inspection and monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Work as a bridge between the management and the team to accomplish organizational goals

Cleaning and Sanitation:

  • Strive towards maintaining a very clean production environment always and at all times
  • Develop and enforce cleaning protocols to ensure the facility and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Train and educate production staff on proper cleaning procedures and enforce hygiene practices throughout the facility.
  • Execute thorough cleaning and sanitization of all bakery equipment, work surfaces, and utensils to meet hygiene standards and prevent crosscontamination.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning agents and chemicals, following safety guidelines.

Hazard Control and Safety Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain hazard control measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards, and take prompt corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Assist leadership by suggesting improvements in production process, customer management, hiring and performance management.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to $21.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- bakery production: 3 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (required)
