Equipment Operator


Duties:

• Operate and maintain various types of equipment, such as skid steers, and excavators.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Transport materials, supplies, and equipment to different locations within the facility or construction site.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, safety guidelines, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects or materials as required.
• Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.

Note:
Additional qualifications may be required depending on the specific industry or job requirements.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$34.00-$38.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Excavator: 3 years (required)
• Civil infrastructure: 2 years (required)
