HR Business & Geography Partner will play a key role to support a growing office in Toronto, Canada as well as Global Business Units in multiple locations.

HR Business & Geography Partner will play a key role to support a growing office in Toronto, Canada as well as Global Business Units in multiple locations.
HRBP
- Responsible for providing proactive consulting and coaching to designated business leaders
- Roll out solutions by aligning HR strategies and initiatives to the business objectives
- Promote and support a robust performance management, succession and development planning process including annual reviews, coaching, and career development
- Provide guidance to the senior leadership team regarding change management on key organizational development initiatives and projects
- Partner with other HR Functions
- Staffing, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits to execute robust recruitment, retention, and development actions
- Provide local HR policy guidance to employees and management
- Provide pragmatic, consistent guidance to the management and employees on all aspects of employee relations
- Coordinate Mobility in and out of the locations with HR Business Partners
- Responsible for coordinating benefits including renewals of insurances, pension plan etc together with our Comp & Ben function
- Responsible for maintaining policies including employee handbook and other global policies whilst ensuring compliance with local requirements and legislations
- Involved in the site management (Business Continuity Management, Floor plan )
- Advocate for Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing, and the culture in the office generally
- Maintain and nurture collaborative relationship(s) with the HR Community
- Point of contact for local management (attending management meetings, give updates).
Qualifications:
About you:
You would have worked in professional HR roles ideally within the financial services and or insurance sectors.
You should hold:
- Proven track record of partnering with and delivering value to clients.
- Intercultural awareness e.g., international work experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in influencing HR outcomes with senior business stakeholders.
- A personality that demonstrates credibility with all levels of the organization.
- HR Operational experience would be an advantage
- Appetite for networking skills to ensure a global perspective on HR solutions and the ability to connect local, regional and Head Office topics and colleagues together.
- Attention to details, reliability, and diligence.
- Ability to work within a Group Framework and Collaborate and Communication will all partners and stakeholders
- 710 years of relevant experience
- Please note our Hybrid Work policy requires all employees are required to be in our downtown Toronto offices Tuesday-Thursday every week. Monday and Friday are designated work from home days
