Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our team to manage the Trade Marketing Program.
A passion for developing meaningful relationships, a no-task-to small attitude, clear communication and organizational skills are all essential to success.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and Merchants to identify key accounts and product stories to drive business for the upcoming season.
- Analyze inventory reports and be able to interpret data to inform priorities.
- Build and maintain a marketing calendar and project tracker across all key accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, develop and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Facilitate meetings with key accounts and develop campaign plans centred around their businesses.
- Create and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee the production of campaign marketing materials in collaboration with MEC's Creative Team.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement, develop and present postcampaign reports.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to manage budget, ensure accurate financial reporting, and meet individual project and overall program targets.
- Maintain as vendor digital asset management tracker so MEC teams have a consistent pipeline of vendor assets to leverage.
Qualifications
- 4 years in marketing or account management, preferably in a retail environment.
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional communicator and presenter.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
- Proven ability to manage and various sizes and scales of budgets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Knowledge of outdoor recreation preferred.
- Retail and understanding of visual merchandising preferred.
